Evelyn McNulty is a qualified actuary and Managing Consultant at Finalyse Dublin, with over 15 years’ experience in life insurance. Her broad range of experience includes Solvency II regulatory reporting and capital modelling, risk management and ORSA, financial reporting and being lead actuary on external audits for life insurers. 

Since joining Finalyse in 2021, Evelyn has been researching climate change risk management and has delivered several projects related to the Solvency II ORSA requirements, among other projects. Her prior roles include Big-4 consulting, Actuarial Function teams for European Group and local entities, and international wealth management business. 

Evelyn holds a BSc in Theoretical Physics (1st class honours) from University College Dublin and qualified as an actuary under the UK’s Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. She is currently a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland.

Divyank is a part qualified actuary and Senior Consultant with over 8 years of working experience within the life and non-life insurance industry. His range of practical work experience includes working in the life insurance industry in a financial reporting and actuarial modelling capacity with extensive exposure to domestic and international clients. 

Working for Finalyse Brussels, he is actively involved on projects related to model implementation and statutory reporting for various clients. He has acquired extensive expertise in the areas of actuarial modelling with tolls like, Prophet, SAS, Python, VBA, R and financial and regulatory reporting under the Solvency II, BMA, IFRS17 regimes while working for multiple clients in previous roles. 

Divyank holds an BSc in Physics from University of Delhi and a Postgraduate in Financial Economics from Madras School of Economics. He is Member of the Institute of Actuaries, UK..

The Solvency II 2020 Review is entering its conclusive phase and is expected to occur later in 2024. Evelyn McNulty and Divyank Garg will outline the significant changes and zoom in on the challenges they will bring to actuaries' work.
